Dr. Brian B. Dolive

Dr. Brian Dolive is a Longview, TX native and graduated from Longview High School. He attended Texas A&M University followed by Baylor College of Dentistry. While there, he received the Operative Dentistry Award, and was a member of the Dental Honor Society. His dental career began in 1987; he then joined the practice of Dr. Joseph Baucum. Dr. Dolive and Dr. Baucum practiced together for 29 years, until Dr. Baucum retired in 2016. 

Dr. Dolive has always believed and strived to serve his practice with the best possible dental care. He treats every patient like family by offering conservative and quality dental care in a pleasant environment. He attributes having a great team helping him to achieve this.  He constantly strives to seek the best for his patients through continuing education programs, and being able to offer the best and most current dental care available. Dr. Dolive is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, East Texas Dental Society, Association of General Dentistry, Ark-La-Tex Study Club, Land of Pines Study Club, as well various local volunteer associations.

He and his wife, Peggy, have been married for 35 years.  They have two children: Emily, a Doctor of English and professor at Baylor University, and Daniel, who is an audio engineer in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Matthew Acres

Dr. Acres grew up in Henderson, TX and graduated from Henderson High School in 2009. He then attended Texas A&M University where he majored in biomedical science and graduated in 2013.

Dr. Acres is a 2018 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School where he excelled clinically earning the top clinician award for his group. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and East Texas Dental Society. Dr. Acres also enjoys volunteering his time at the LEDO free extraction clinic in Longview.

Dr. Acres is married to Rebekah and has a son named Mahlon born in August of 2018. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family. He especially likes hunting and fishing. Dr. Acres is very happy to be back in East Texas and really enjoys the slower pace of life found here.

Dr. Acres’ calm demeanor and gentle touch put all of his patients at ease. His conservative treatment philosophy is centered around informing the patient of their dental needs, giving all treatment options, and helping the patient choose the best option for their overall situation.
